Community Development Advisory Board

The YWCA presented an overview of their housing services, which receive partial city funding, including emergency shelter programs, permanent housing properties, and a new scholarship initiative planned for early 2026 targeting young women in local high schools. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to reviewing HOME-ARP (American Rescue Plan) funded homeless prevention programs. Staff provided performance data on these programs and sought board input on structuring the upcoming Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), which will be limited to organizations currently receiving this funding.
